Super breakfast


This morning ย i managed to make a super delicious breakfast!! A normal and simple breakfast i.e quark, raspberries and almonds but i also added Green valley Ranch chocolate sauce to it!! Delicious, though i do admit maybe a little too sweet for breakfast!! But delicious nonetheless!

Today its school and im hoping to have time for a shoulder workout!!! Ive changed my workout plan a little and im going to see if it gives any affect… i will try write about the change once i get a chance ๐Ÿ™‚ I also got a little delivery from MMsports which i want to show!!!

Morning run & breakfast


Recently ive gotten my running motivation back and it feels like all i want to do is to run…. But because of my busy weekday schedule its hard to find time. But its about making time for the things you love. So i woke up a little earlier than usual on a weekend and drank some coffee and BCAAs and ate an apple and some raisins and then i went out for a run, I wasnt sure how far i would run…. a 5km, 10km, 7km etc… but i just kept running (with a break half way to do some stair intervals i.e run up really fast, jog down and then repeat how many times i like). My run finished at 6.6km and feeling energised and tired at the same time! My stomach was rumbling for a proper breakfast ๐Ÿ™‚

Today my breakfast was: chocolate egg cake & raspberries, quark, nuts, raspberries, an egg and my favourite celsius!!

Today im going to pack, clean and study as i have lots of tests coming up in the next 2 weeks and also….im moving house on Monday (and not to mention, its my birthday tomorrow!!!!) ๐Ÿ™‚

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day


i am going to be a typical Swede, and start this post with Weather talk ๐Ÿ™‚ย Hahah. Yes.. i am the type of person who, if i am in an awkeward silence with someone i will begin talking about the weather ๐Ÿ™‚

But anyway, recently it has been around 10-15 degrees during the day i.e not so cold!! (But its getting colder from now on… ๐Ÿ˜ฆ )

But it means that the mornings have the perfect walking temperature. Its not so cold that your sweat freezes on your skin and you walk like an icicle, but its not so hot that you are sweating so much you just want to take off all your clothes and go lie down somewhere.

But its a good mix of, if you put on some dry fit clothes and a warmer – but light jacket, then you dont freeze and you dont overheat either ;);)

Hhahaha… all my years of morning walks ive finally learnt how to dress properly!!





When i came home it was time for breakfast and i must say,ย it was better than usual!!!


Yoghurt and quark & nuts, 2 boiled eggs, ginger flavoured cashews and coconut. (The 60g packet was easily eaten, they are sooo good. And whats better is that its all organic :)) & a Raspberry and Lemon Kombucha!!

I am going to write a review about both the nuts and the Kombucha ๐Ÿ™‚


Today my mum wants to take me out for lunch and im definitely not complaining ๐Ÿ™‚ Free food? Why yes… thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

Im hoping we can go to the vegetarian buffet so that i can eat as much as i want and not just be limited by the small portion i would get at a normal restaurant ๐Ÿ™‚

(And p.s… just because im going out to eat DOESNT mean i eat less ;);) Its not about compensating!)


Taking probiotics, not stressing and a little change in my diet = back to no bloating (unless i eat a big meal which is basically 6 times per day… but the bloating is pretty much gone and the pain!! Woop woop!)


Morning walk and breakfast


Started my day with a 6,5km morning walk (drinking coffee and bcaas before) and then breakfast afterwards. This is just a personal preferance of mine, as i dont like walking after breakfast. So i walk before ๐Ÿ™‚ But you get the same benefit no matter what time you walk!

Brekfast this morning was egg white oatmeal, cottage cheese, an apple, (and also milk), a questbar anda ย celsius!! (Loading up for a back workout, not sure how its going to go today… or if i even do strength training. Ill just wait and see how i feel :))

Ive also been asked how many calories i eat in a day and how much i burn off through exercise. 1)I dont count calories and 2)I dont think of exercise as burning off calories. Its not aย Plus/Minusย  thing for me. I am neither trying to gain weight or lose weight… i just want to keep gettting stronger. Feel i have energy and that i love what im doing, which i do. I do the workouts i have energy for and i eat what im craving… there is not so much more to it. Somedays i might eat 3500kcal, other days 1800… i dont really know. It doesnt make so much difference to me!! Food is energy, not numbers.


Sunday breakfast


Today is another study day and rest day. But its important to fuel yourself even if you arent exercising. So todays breakfast was a delicious egg cake with yoghurt, raspberries and nuts. 2 eggs and a coffee (and a short while later 2 handfuls of raisins and nuts…. Because i need study snacks!)

Fruit salad for breakfast


A favourite breakfast of mine recently is fruit salad. It gives me so much energy and keeps me full for a long time as well…. though i love oatmeal, quark or my sweet egg cake as well and they are all filling and give me energy. So each morning its hard to decide what to eat!!!

But when i feel i want to eat more natural – and not something warm, then fruit salad is the best!!! (At times my stomach can find it hard to digest so much lactose or egg, so then having other delicious alternatives is good!)

Breakfast: apple, orange, small pear, raspberries. quark, nuts… and more nuts ๐Ÿ™‚ & an egg and coffee (my standard!)

How to start the day off right


Waking up with energy and a smile on my face.

3 days after my legday and i still have training pain…. The burning feeling of bending over or picking something up… or having to use stairs. And even my shoulders have DOMS after yesterdays workout… My body is definitely reacting well to the new workout schedule!!

To start off my day i went for a 5km powerwalk followed by a delicious breakfast to load up for a back workout, hopefully i can increase my weights and maybe, just maybe increase my weights with deadlifts!!


Pre workout breakfast


This morning i think i spent 20 minutes making breakfast… thats 15 minutes more than usual. But i am happy of the results!!! It was absaloutly delicious and filling, couldnt have made myself a better breakfast. And lots of energy as well, so now im ready to go with all this energy!!! The reason it took so long to make was because i decided to photograph as well… haha

I made a fruit salad with quark mixed with funlight (the juice). (and added cinnamon as well) and topped with a chocolate sauce and a blueberry sauce. On the side was half a melon, an egg, coffee and an Aloe Vera!!!ย Super full and energy filled!













Dont skip breakfast


Breakfast is one of those meals which either someone skips or someone loves it and couldnt imagine life without breakfast.ย I am one of those who LOVES breakfast, however im not always hungry in the morning. Thats why i love morning walks before rbeakfast as it speeds up my metabolism so when i come home im super hungry and can enjoy breakfast even more!

Breakfast is one of those meals which SHOULD be eaten. It gives you energy in the morning, kickstarts your metabolism, is delicious, helps you concentrate in school or work. And also, people who eat breakfast are less likely to over eat or eat lots during the evenings. There have also been studies that have shown that those who ate breakfast lost more weight compared to those that didnt…ย Need any more reasons to eat breakfast?

If its just that you dont have any breakfast inspriation, below is some great ideas.

If you dont have enough time for breakfast… prepare it the night before. Make over night oats, mix a smoothie which you can just grab and go in the morning. Bake healthy muffins or cupcakes or bars which you can just grab in the morning. Pre boil eggs…. grab a handful of nuts and a banana in the morning. Just make sure to eat something.

If you dont have time to eat, you can try waking up 2o minutes earlier than usual. And if its that you arent hungry, then try making a smoothie or even just a slice of whole grain toast with some cottage cheese and maybe some nuts on the side.

Powerwalk, breakfast and L Glutamine


This morning i started my day with a morning powerwalk around the lake with my dog. The perfect way to start a day in other words! And when i came home it was time for breakfast. And today i decided to try L Glutamine.

In my package that i got a while ago from My Proteinย i got both protein cookies and L Glutamine. However i was a little slow to start using the L Glutamine mainly because first i wanted to know the benefits of it and if there are any side effects. Just like before starting to use any supplements i look to see what its for and why it can be helpful to use.

Glutamine is an amino acid – a building block of protein and can help with recovery time after training. So im going to give it a go and see if it gives me any benefits or makes a difference ๐Ÿ™‚ย If you want me to write more about L Glutamine let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

For breakfast i ate my sweet egg cake, strawberries and milk & L Glutamine. And because i wasnt satisfied (yup, it was a small breakfast!) i ate 3 crisp bread with spread and a coffee ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚


Now im getting ready for a workout – im thinking Back as i have lots of energy, but also want to workout biceps but not do a biceps workout…ย The problems you can have ๐Ÿ˜‰ hahah
